Wordpress, Shopify, Perch and moreCreating beautiful and clean websites is my mantra!
I love what I do and it provides me with the opportunity to learn various industries and meet amazing people. I work on sites in most industries including healthcare, professional consultants, life coaches, storefronts, non-profit organizations and outsource to creative agencies.
Frameworks
I often use WordPress as my platform of choice for many reasons, not the least of which is its ease of use and functionality for the end-user. Most businesses would like to be able to make edits themselves rather than rely on someone else and the content management system in WordPress is perfect for this purpose.
WordPress is a free, Web-based software program that anyone can use to build and maintain a website or blog. It was originally intended as an easy way to set up a blog. But, thanks to the efforts of a large “open source” community of WordPress programmers working to extend and improve its capabilities, WordPress has become much more than just a tool for bloggers.
Today’s WordPress is really a “content management system” (CMS), which means that it can be used to run full-sized, social media-rich business websites. There are over 25,000 plugins that can extend WordPress to do almost anything you can imagine. Shopping carts, membership sites, galleries, custom forms, events and more.
Grab a Perch is another very cool content management system for clients that need to edit content without the hassle of setting up a big CMS. However there is more to Perch than just basic editing… Perch has been designed to be very clear and simple for the end client to use.
Shopify is a complete ecommerce solution that allows you to set up an online store to sell your goods. It lets you organize your products, customize your storefront, accept credit card payments, track and respond to orders — all with a few clicks of the mouse.
Everything you need to sell. Build your online store with Shopify’s ecommerce software and easily sell in person with Shopify’s iPad POS.
Will I be able to edit my website myself once you are done?
Yes! I produce a private library of video tutorials that are tailored for your specific website. These video tutorials walk you step by step through the most common areas of your website that you will want and need to edit.
How much does a website cost?
That’s probably the most common question that I’m asked. And the answer varies, depending on the client, the functionality needed for the website, the amount of customization you want, and more.
Please complete our website client questionnaire and we will be happy to provide a quote for you!
Do you fix, maintain and update existing web sites?
Yes! Many clients approach me on updating, fixing and redesigning their sites.
Please reach out and let me know how I can assist you in getting your web presence up-to-date and reflect your business goals.
